This site was created to share the images of Michael Sowden a Brisbane, Australia based photographer.

Whilst I would consider myself as a generalist photographer, my greatest passion is for capturing images of the animal kingdom in all it forms. With every free moment you would most likely find me exploring the forests, creeks and shores camera in hand.

Living in a lush rainforest environment within D’Aguilar National Park, Mount Glorious, Brisbane provides an abundant source of camera subjects, such as King Parrots, Satin Bowerbirds, Regent Bowerbirds, Crimson Rosellas, Cockatoos, Wonga Pigeons, Fruit Doves and multiple species of snakes, lizards and frogs.
